The Ghost Miner’s Treasure (Haunted: Book 4) by Chris Eboch

“My 10 year old daughter HATES to read. These books kept her interested and wanting to read more. I downloaded all 4 in this series. THANK YOU!”

What do you do when a ghost needs your help?

The ghost hunter TV show has a new case, in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona! Jon and Tania meet the ghost of an old miner who is still looking for his lost mine. The siblings want to help him move on – but to resolve the problem keeping him here, they’ll have to find the mine. And even then, the old ghost may be having too much fun to leave!

It’s a good thing Tania can see and talk to the ghost. The kids will need his help to survive the hardships of a mule train through the desert. No one else seems to know what to do when faced with dangers such as rattlesnakes or a flash flood. Then there’s the suspicious treasure hunter who wants the gold mine for himself….

Life isn’t easy when your sister sees ghosts. But it sure is an adventure!

“I LOVED this book. My daughter who is 11 could not put this book down. She read it so quickly and is asking for more!”

See the Haunted series page.

Chris Eboch’s novels for ages nine and up include The Eyes of Pharaoh, a mystery in ancient Egypt; The Well of Sacrifice, a Mayan adventure; and the Haunted series.

Haunted follows a brother and sister who travel with their parents’ ghost hunter TV show. They try to help the ghosts, while keeping their activities secret from meddling grownups. In The Ghost on the Stairs, an 1880s ghost bride haunts a Colorado hotel, waiting for her missing husband to return. The Riverboat Phantom features a steamboat pilot still trying to prevent a long-ago disaster. In The Knight in the Shadows, a Renaissance French squire protects a sword on display at a New York City museum. During The Ghost Miner’s Treasure, Jon and Tania help a dead man find his lost gold mine—but they’re not the only ones looking for it.

When Outlaws Wore Badges: A Western nonfiction book release #nonfiction #bookbuzz

A big southwestern CONGRATULATIONS to Melody Groves for the release of her new book When Outlaws Wore Badges.

Lawman or outlaw? Black-hatted “villains” or white-hatted “good guys” of the Old West at times were one and the same. Was Wyatt Earp truly law-abiding in everything he did? He stole horses and ran brothels. How about Albuquerque’s first Town Marshal, Milton Yarberry, accused of murder and subsequently “jerked to Jesus”? “Mysterious” Dave Mather, and even two of the Dalton Gang spent time behind a badge as well as behind bars.

When Outlaws Wore Badges explores the world of lawman and outlaw wrapped into one person. Willcox, Arizona’s Town Marshal, Burt Alvord, appointed outlaw friends as deputies, robbed a train, then formed a posse of his “deputies” to apprehend the robbers, unsuccessfully of course. Justice Hoodoo Brown and deputy JJ Webb ruled Las Vegas, NM as leaders of the Dodge City Gang until run out of town by citizens fed up with their type of justice.

Hollywood draws a convenient line in the Western dirt, differentiating between lawman and outlaw. But in reality, at times it was difficult, if not impossible to distinguish who was who. When Outlaws Wore Badges explores the lives of some of the West’s most memorable frontier characters.

COMING SOON! MORE BOOKS BY MELODY!
Coming January, 2021: Border Ambush, never before published as an e-book.
Coming 2022: Lady of the Law, Maud Overstreet Saga, Book 2
Trail to Tin Town, Colton Family Saga, Book 6
